Roundtable on Financing Water

The forthcoming Roundtable on Financing Water on 23-24 September 2021 will focus on climate action. Mobilising finance and investment is central to accelerating the transition to net zero carbon emissions and to strengthening climate resilience.

A joint initiative of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the Netherlands, the World Water Council and the World Bank, the Roundtable provides a global public-private platform which aims to facilitate more investment that contributes to water security and sustainable growth.

A diverse range of actors will be involved: governments and regulators, private financiers, development financing institutions, bi-lateral donors, international organizations, academia and civil society.
