Regional political-technical dialogue on water, energy and food nexus hosted in Chile

The United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) will host Regional Political-Technical Dialogue on Water, Energy and Food Nexus in Santiago, Chile on 14 and 15 May 2018.

The first day of the event will be devoted to the presentation of the water, energy and food Nexus approach: background information on the Nexus concept, regional characteristics of the Nexus, priority Nexus interrelations in the region, national case studies, sector and intersectoral perspectives, and the Nexus in the work of regional and international cooperation and agencies.

During the second day, debates will centre on draft public policy guidelines for a better management of Nexus interrelations.
