The Global Water Analysis Laboratory Network (GloWAL Network)

The GloWAL Network supports laboratories utilizing various techniques to analyse stable and radioactive isotopes in water samples, complemented by major, minor, and trace element geochemistry. The initiative aims to build a robust network to facilitate the generation and sharing of critical water resource data, enhancing global water management in the face of climate change. These initiatives will deliver essential data, resources, and skills to bolster water management capabilities at both national and regional levels, guiding the development of effective regulations and policy frameworks.

United Nations System-wide Strategy for Water and Sanitation

The Contributing Actions are key initiatives supporting the United Nations System-wide Strategy for Water and Sanitation, aligning individual and joint efforts across UN entities and partnering organizations to advance global water and sanitation goals. These actions are integrated into the Collaborative Implementation Plan (CIP) Results Framework 2025-2028, which provides a structured approach to achieving system-wide impact through coordinated UN efforts.
