Global Monitoring: Align to Accelerate (A2A)

A2A is an initiative to define and agree upon core indicators to monitor the strength of WASH systems and a common monitoring and review framework through a process of sector-wide multi-stakeholder consultation. The objectives of A2A are to: steer a process for the development of a set of agreed core indicators and a common monitoring and review framework to monitor the strength of WASH systems, and support the provision of high-quality data, evidence and analysis of the status of WASH systems from data captured through a government-led process in collaboration with development partners.
