Youth Action for SDG 6 report

The International Water Association (IWA) and Grundfos Youth Action for Sustainable Development Goal 6 (SDG 6) Fellowship has released its final report, marking a milestone in youth-led water diplomacy.

Launched in 2022, the fellowship is a transformative programme that equips young water professionals with the knowledge, skills, and global platform needed to drive meaningful change in the water sector. It has successfully brought together emerging leaders worldwide to co-develop solutions, advocate for sustainable water management, and strengthen youth participation in global water governance.

One of the fellowship’s landmark achievements was co-creating an accountability framework for the Water Action Agenda (WAA), ensuring youth engagement is embedded in commitments made by organisations worldwide.
