GLAAS data portal - now online

MYS-2018-Noorani-0180

The UN-Water Global Analysis and Assessment of Sanitation and Drinking-water (GLAAS) provides policy- and decision-makers at all levels with reliable, easily accessible, comprehensive data on water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) systems, including on governance, monitoring, human resources and finance.

GLAAS monitors elements of WASH systems that are required to sustain and extend WASH services and systems to all, and especially to the most vulnerable population groups.

Data from GLAAS are now available on the interactive GLAAS data portal (Phase 1).

The data portal allows users to display visualizations of GLAAS indicators, download GLAAS data as well as see key findings in governance, monitoring, human resources, finance, equity and external aid. Data from the past three GLAAS cycles are available and allow for trend analysis.
Over the coming months, the World Health Organization (WHO) will continue to add additional data, including financial data from WASH accounts, as well as add a feature to develop country highlights.
