“Thank you for the advice and encouragement and I look to all of you Members and Partners for advice along the road,” said the new UN-Water Chair, ILO Director-General at the 24th UN-Water Meeting in Geneva.

“As we now focus on implementing the 2030 Agenda, especially as it relates to reducing inequalities and providing fair and decent living standards for all, it is an auspicious time for the ILO to take the lead,” said Mr. Jarraud at the hand-over ceremony.
