World Water Week in Stockholm 2022

www2022-lake

The 2022 edition of World Water Week will take place 23 August to 1 September online and in Stockholm, Sweden.

The conference will be held on the theme ‘Seeing the Unseen: The Value of Water,” and is built on a global need to not only see, but to understand, and – more importantly – value water. Organized by the Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI), the World Water Week 2022 theme will be captured in three main perspectives:

  • the value of water for people and development;
  • the value of water for nature and climate change; and
  • the financial and economic value of water.

The meeting will take place in a hybrid format in Stockholm, Sweden and online. The event will take place from 23 August – 1 September, with the online sessions held from 23-25 August. During the week, UN-Water will convene various activities, sessions and events.
