WHO and UNICEF launch information package to address WASH problems in schools

The package offers practical advice for school staff on how to address common WASH problems and deliver improvements at the school level, alongside pupils and the entire school community. Topics covered include: school based maintenance of WASH and costing, hand hygiene education, school based education and nudging, engaging school children and working with communities, persisting taboos, such as talking about toilet use and menstrual hygiene matters, and fact sheets on WASH.
