Water_web_spotlight

On 14 September the UN-Water Integrated Monitoring Initiative for SDG 6 (IMI-SDG6) will host a webinar on the UN 2023 Water Conference and the use of national data.

For effective and efficient water policies and investments, including priority setting, it is important to have timely and credible data to guide our actions, and this is true also for the UN 2023 Water Conference and the Water Action Agenda. The UN-Water Integrated Monitoring Initiative for SDG 6 (IMI-SDG6) supports countries monitor progress towards SDG 6, through a network of monitoring focal points in national line ministries involved in water and sanitation, as well as in the national statistical offices. These people play an important role in the conference, enabling an evidence-based preparatory process at the national level.

To inform the focal points about the conference and the water action agenda, and how data can help guide the discussions, IMI-SDG6 is organizing a multilingual webinar on 14 September 2022.

  • Wednesday 14 September, 9.00-10.00 CEST, translations in Arabic and Russian.
  • Wednesday 14 September 16.00-17.00 CEST, translations in French and Spanish.
