UN Food Systems Summit

The UN Food Systems Summit 2021 takes place today, focusing on the power of food systems to drive our recovery from the pandemic and get the world on track to achieving all 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030.

For the past 18 months, as part of the build-up to the Summit, UN Member States and constituencies from around the world have been brought together to bring about tangible, positive changes to the world’s food systems.

Today’s Summit is the culmination of this process, aiming to generate public mobilization and actionable commitments by world leaders to transform the way the world produces, consumes, and thinks about food.
