The Middle East and North Africa is the world's most water-scarce region and the situation is worsening due to the impacts of conflict, climate change and economic downturn.

During the World Water Week in Stockholm, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) conducted a 'Questions & Answers' with its Delivery Manager for the Water Scarcity initiative in the Near East and North Africa, Mr Pasquale Steduto.
