UN Global Compact's CEO Water Mandate (UN Global Compact)

The CEO Water Mandate, a partnership between the UN Global Compact and the Pacific Institute, formed in 2007 to mobilize business leaders to advance water stewardship, sanitation, and the Sustainable Development Goals in partnership with the United Nations, governments, peers, civil society, and others.

The Mandate develops tools and resources, convenes stakeholders, and facilitates meaningful partnerships and on-the-ground collective actions that improve conditions in at-risk river basins around the world. The work of the Mandate and its initiatives including the Water Resilience Coalition and WASH4Work focuses on identifying actions, tools, and resources to help companies implement good water stewardship towards as a direct contribution to Sustainable Development Goal 6.
