GLAAS 2012 just released

The second edition of the UN-Water Global Analysis and Assessment of Sanitation and Drinking-Water (GLAAS) was released on 12 April. While access to WASH has improved globally, the new report warns that services coverage could slip behind if adequate resources are not secured, especially to sustain routine operations.

Key Water Indicator Portal now online
The UN-Water Key Water Indicator Portal - or KWIP - allows to view maps, tables, and charts on specific water indicators, at either country or global level. Easy to use, it also provides a range of additional geographic information.

Winners of the 2nd edition of the UN-Water Award

The two winners of the 2012 edition of the UN-Water "Water for Life" Best Practices Award were announced on 22 March during the official World Water Day ceremony that took place at FAO Headquarter in Rome, Italy.
