Workshop for Operators
On 2-3 June at UNESCO-IHE in Delft, a workshop to assess the Capacity Development Resources for Water and Sanitation Operators will be organiZed within the framework of the UN-Water Task Force on Capacity Development for Water Operators and the BEWOP project “Boosting Effectiveness of Water Operators’ Partnerships”.
With the objective to build synergies between two important global initiatives that are looking at the assessment of existing Capacity Development, the workshop will welcome water operators from seventeen countries to assess resources and analyze emerging needs and gaps.
UN-Water Members and Partners will also attend and materials and relevant results will be compiled and documented in UN-Water Activity Information System, and the GWOPA/ UN Habitat web-site.
