Water in the Twenty First Century
The United Nations Education, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Centre of Catalonia (UNESCOCAT) and Caixa Catalunya’s Community Projects Department has developed educational materials based on UN-Water's flagship report, the World Water Development Report. These materials are not currently available in English.
The most recent collection, which is based on WWDR-2 and includes both posters and interactive teaching materials, is available in Catalan and Spanish. The first collection of educational posters, based on WWDR-1, is also available in French and Bosniak/Croat/Serb
UNESCOCAT has also created a computer game for upper primary and secondary students that allows students to explore and test their knowledge of the important lessons about water that are presented in the documentary ‘A Dream of Water’. For more information about how to obtain ‘The Dream of Water’ materials, please contact the UNESCO Centre of Catalonia
