Asian solutions for water

The 1^st Asia International Water Week and the Korea International Water Week will be held on the 20-23 of September in Gyeongju, Republic of Korea.

Among other things, an Asia to World Statements will be hosted, which is the platform for the highest participation among government authorities, local governments and waterfront cities in Asia in promoting cooperation to resolve water problems in Asia and over the world.

Further, 25 sessions that are related to five themes which are the major water issues in Asia (i.e. Water and Climate Change, Drinking Water and Sanitation, Sustainable Water Resources Management, Water-Energy-Food Nexus and Water for Ecosystems and Waterfront) will be organized.
