The 5th AfricaSan Conference (AfricanSan5) will be held on 18-22 February 2019 in Cape Town, South Africa.
AfricaSan5 looks to further maximize value for its participants from the first four AfricaSan Conferences by increasing opportunities for collaboration and partnership between ministers and high-level political decision makers, sector specialists, media and international organizations by facilitating Africa-centric hygiene and sanitation conversations.
The conference Sub-themes are consist of:
- Hygiene and the SDGs: Leave no one behind
- Policies, institutions and regulation
- Monitoring and using evidence to improve hygiene & sanitation
- Building capacity and financing sanitation in Africa
